Two best friends, Abril and Yula (8), perform a ritual to make it rain. When they see that it works, they believe in magic and try to do the same to make a girl from their class they dislike, Carmela, disappear. The next day, Carmela doesn't show up to school, causing Abril and Yula to think they are responsible. Both promise never to tell the secret, but their paranoia grows as they fear they will be discovered. Abril will have to decide whether or not to maintain her friendship with Yula after finding out that she has betrayed her.
