Ultramarino
The village is preparing for the biggest day of the year, marked by a traditional ceremony in which the men come down from the mountain bearing torches to be welcomed by the women who greet them with arrai zopa (fish soup). The ritual is considered an important act of devotion to the sea, which provides so much for this fishing community.
