Time travels through mountains and rivers
By the Min River, in a centuries-old riverside town, the clock that boatbuilder Deng Guanghui has used for decades finally stops ticking, as if time itself were quietly sinking into his aging body. Sixty years later, he recalls a childhood dream: a boat flying through the sky. From that dream rise mountains made of time — a daughter crossing the river at night, a Luohan ascending to the moon, and legends of gratitude and transcendence. Through memory, myth, and everyday labor, the film drifts between the real and the imagined, tracing how one man carries his life, his dreams, and his loved ones across the flowing river of time.
