Planet Hunger

Director: Édier William · Country: Brazil · Year: 2025 · Runtime: 15 min · Language: No dialogues

In a world where hunger is not just a consequence but a currency, Ivani, a single mother, loses her job and, along with her 8-year-old son, Lucca, is pushed into misery. What begins as a daily struggle for work and dignity turns into a desperate journey through the streets of a city that worships scarcity and inequality. While Ivani faces rejection and degradation in the job market, Lucca discovers that hunger is a perverse system, where those who suffer are silenced and those in power choose to ignore it. As the days go by, mother and son lose everything—their home, their furniture, their meals—until only each other remains.
