There are journeys that begin without anyone wanting them to. Journeys in which a boy or girl packs the most precious things they own into a small rucksack: a toy, a photo, a piece of their home in their heart. Journeys for which there is no return ticket. This short film tells the story of a childhood on the move, of a girl named Name, who could be called a thousand different names, have a thousand different faces or live in a thousand different places. Of a girl who, in the midst of interrupted games, half-finished laughter and barely begun dreams, was forced to embark on a journey she never chose, the harsh journey of forced migration. In this sense, this work gives us the opportunity to talk about refuge, because talking about refuge is talking about solidarity, empathy and rights. Because talking about this girl is talking about all childhoods, here and anywhere in the world. Because talking about this journey is learning to see with different eyes: those of tenderness and understanding. Throughout this story, viewers will encounter the story of a difficult and courageous journey: leaving a country marked by war, crossing the Mediterranean in uncertain conditions and, finally, arriving in Europe, specifically in a refugee camp where the unknown mixes with the hope of one day being free again, far from fences and barbed wire.
