Ego death
Ego Death is neither a scientific treatise nor a clinical examination. It is a sensitive and direct testimony of a phenomenon that is beginning to occupy a central place in the cultural conversation of our time. At a historical moment in which psychedelics are being rediscovered for their therapeutic potential, the film chooses to focus on their most transcendental dimension, exploring how the dissolution of the self can open a door to new forms of understanding, healing, and transformation. More than an informative narrative, the film seeks to become an experience in itself: a mirror of what happens when a group of human beings dares to step into the unknown, leaving behind the certainty of their own identity in order to glimpse — even if only briefly — the mystery of the infinite.
