Dochar
Gila, a young woman living in a psychiatric institution, becomes obsessed with a newspaper photograph of Siyavash, a convicted murderer awaiting execution. As she fixates on his image, fragments of her suppressed memories and desires begin to surface. Trapped within a rigid, controlling environment, Gila drifts between reality, hallucination, and childhood trauma rooted in sexual abuse by her father. The institution gradually transforms into a psychological landscape where violence, desire, and vulnerability overlap. Dochar is a surreal psychological portrait of a woman whose longing to be seen leads her into a dangerous intimacy with trauma and illusion.
