“CYLINDER” TO COMPETE AT RELIGION TODAY
25th edition of religion today is held on september 14-21
The short film Cylinder written and directed by Amir Pazirofteh is in the official selection of The Religion Today Film Festival.
Religion Today is a cinematic competition open to feature films, documentaries and short films which explore the various points of view on the existence of the divine according to different religions. Each year dozens of films from all over the world enter the competition, which represents an important international occasion for discussing and sharing techniques, talking about the theory and poetry of current cinematography.
Synopsis:A teenage boy, regardless of his interest and talent in soccer, must obey a father who is obsessed with money. Father prevents his son from going to the football competition by any means. Eventually, after a consistent struggle, the matchday arrived and the boy decided to reach the final match with the help of his friend, in any case.
